Songs

  • Dal Av ~ Insanely Illegal Cage Fight
  • Cultist ~ Pray For Me
  • Glae ~ Deathseekers

Kinda starting to get into Magdalena Bay. Sounds kinda interesting, but they haven't fully grabbed my attention yet.

I love that feeling of discovering a new album that sounds just so good and that captures my attention. That's how I feel about Into The Raging Sea by Broadside which is SO GOOOD.

10/20 - 10/26

Albums
  • Sleep Token ~ Sundowning
Songs
  • Senses Fail ~ Can't Be Saved
  • Pixel Grip ~ Dancing On Your Grave
  • Gunship (ft HEALTH) ~ Blood For The Blood God
  • Pixel Grip ~ Soft Peaks
  • Pixel Grip ~ Can't Compete

I've been meaning to listen to more of Sleep Token and I got reminded to do so after listening to Noah Sebastian's partial cover of Levitate. I wish that there was a longer clip of the cover because his voice is just incredible and he made that song sound even more beautiful than it already is.

I'm not a huge fan of Sleep Token, but I do enjoy some of the songs on Take Me Back To Eden and Sundowning. I get chills when listening to some of the songs and I love the lyrics.

10/13 - 10/19

  • HEALTH ~ Rat Wars
  • HEALTH ~ Vol 4: Slaves of Fear

I watched the livestream of Bad Omens at Mayhem Festival on Sunday. It was a really amazing performance. I loved Bad Omens before, but there's always a point with a band where something clicks and I love them even more. That Mayhem performance was that point for me with Bad Omens. The stage setup was incredible and I loved each one for every song. I kept rewatching the performance because it's one of the best that I've seen from them.

Through this performance, I got really obsessed with The Drain and I got the urge to listen to more new music, so I decided to check out the band HEALTH who collaborated with Bad Omens on that track.

I really like HEALTH's sound. I listened to the Spotify "This Is" playlist for them and two full albums by them (Rat Wars and Vol 4: Slaves of Fear). That dark synth sound is really cool.
